Jebel Ali Port operated by DP World UAE Region, is the largest marine terminal in the Middle East and the flagship facility of DP World’s portfolio of over 65 marine terminals across six continents. Strategically located in Dubai, Jebel Ali port is at the crossroads of a region providing market access to over 2 billion people.

The handing-over of the first Operations Support RIB Boat took place last week. At 12m in length, this Rigid Inflatable Boat is designed with a spacious center cabin comprising suspension seats for 6 people to maximize comfort and minimize fatigue. This RIB’s cabin comes equipped with air conditioning, interior ventilation fans, and weather tight sliding port and starboard screen windows.

The 12m deep V-Hull RIB boat features a non-skid deck and an inflatable collar with a reinforced bow rail to provide stability during personnel and equipment loading and off loading. On top of the 6 passengers in the cabin, 4 more seats are available outdoor.

Equipped with full electronics and Navigational equipments such as Radar, GPS, VHF, AIS –Automatic Identification System -Siren and Police lights; the boat is perfect for maintaining safe standards of navigation. This 12m Port Operations Support RIB Boat can be found carrying out any of the following tasks as part of normal port operation; Management of traffic movement in the port, conducting spot checks on vessel navigational documentation, escorting vessels as required, enforcing port bylaws, pilotage and any other additional harbor functions like survey work, buoy and mooring maintenance, towing, line handling and patrol duties.

With speed reaching 40 knots this Port Operation Support boat is fast and very responsive. It will be an essential element in day to day port operations.

Ferrite magnets are often made from a chemical compound that contains iron oxide and ceramic. Sintering and pressing ceramic and magnetic powders is the process for making ceramic ferrite magnets. Sintering is a process used in manufacturing magnets when two main materials are combined and then melted down to the point where they stick to each other. Ferrite magnets are described as being hard and brittle.Ceramic ferrite magnets can be categorized as either hard ferrites or soft ferrites, although these terms are misleading. The differences between hard and soft ferrite magnets is not in the density of the material, as the terms hard and soft suggest, instead the difference lies in the intensity of the magnetic field needed to demagnetize the magnets. Soft ferrite magnets do not need as intensive of a magnetic field to de-magnetize as hard ferrite. There are many practical uses of ceramic magnets whether at school, at home or in the workplace. For example, ceramic magnets are unique in that they can be applied to flexible fabrics, making them great for crafts and decorative purposes. Ceramic ferrite magnets can be used in many different applications and for numerous uses.

Neodymium magnet is a rare earth magnet made from neodymium, a chemical element with the symbol Nd and atomic number 60. Present in the ore minerals monazite and bastnasite, neodymium is a silvery, soft metal that easily tarnishes. Their performance in extreme conditions and strength make neodymium magnets preferred in some applications. If you require maximum energy then neodymium magnets are a great choice. Neodymium is stronger than ferrite or alnico products. There are many advantages to using neodymium magnets and products made from neodymium. Although neodymium is strong, affordable, popular and can withstand cold temperatures it also has some cons. With a lower Curie temperature than samarium-cobalt (another rare earth magnet), neodymium cannot resist excessively high temperatures, and could lose its magnetism if placed in an environment with a temperature that is too hot. Neodymium performs extremely well in very cold temperatures. Neodymium is less durable and more prone to scratching than other rare earth magnets because it is less resistant to oxidation, which means that it must have treatments applied in order to protect it. In order to protect neodymium magnets from cracks and corrosion often manufacturers will apply surface treatments in the form of plating or coating in the form of nickel, tin, zinc or gold. The problem of oxidation of neodymium magnets can be minimized by applying a plating or coating..

There are many uses in a variety of industries for flexible magnetic strips. When you place magnets next to another magnet or a ferrous metal it will pull or attract that object by using the force of magnetism. Once a magnet touches the surface of another magnet or a ferrous metal the two objects will become attached. No matter the field you are in, whether commercial, industrial, marketing or retail you will find many uses of magnets. The most dexterous of all magnet types are flexible magnetic strips. The advertising uses of flexible magnetic strips include labels, point of sale displays, vehicle signs and signage. Fridge magnets, printed magnets and planning boards all use flexible magnets. In particular fridge magnets are a great advertising tool because they keep your company information in a prominent spot in the home. Keep your products and services top of mind by using fridge magnets..

Not surprisingly, block magnets are named for their rectangular block shape, although they do come.
